FAHAMT? was born from lived experience — not a boardroom. Founded by Mohamed Hassan Kamaleldin Idris, an Eritrean-Arab cultural producer based in Malta since 2012. 12 years in the Arab diaspora community. 7 years working alongside refugees and asylum seekers. A platform built because the infrastructure didn't exist.
فهمت؟ وُلد من تجربة حقيقية — لا من غرفة اجتماعات. أسسه محمد حسن كمال الدين إدريس، منتج ثقافي عربي-إريتري مقيم في مالطا منذ ٢٠١٢. ١٢ عاماً في قلب مجتمع الشتات العربي. ٧ سنوات في العمل مع اللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء. منصة بُنيت لأن البنية التحتية لم تكن موجودة.

Mohamed Hassan Kamaleldin Idris is an Eritrean-Arab cultural producer, born in Riyadh and based in Malta since 2012. Over more than a decade, he built one of the most consistent Arab music platforms in Europe — from the ground up, without institutional backing.
محمد حسن كمال الدين إدريس منتج ثقافي عربي-إريتري، وُلد في الرياض ومقيم في مالطا منذ ٢٠١٢. على مدار أكثر من عقد، بنى واحدة من أكثر المنصات الموسيقية العربية اتساقاً في أوروبا — من الصفر، دون دعم مؤسسي.
The name comes from فهمت علي؟ — Mohamed's personal verbal signature, the Arabic for "did you get me? you feel me?" — pure hip-hop energy compressed into two words. FAHAMT? is not a content channel. It is infrastructure. A label, a platform, and a cultural institution being built for the long term.
الاسم مأخوذ من "فهمت علي؟" — التوقيع اللفظي الشخصي لمحمد، العبارة العربية لـ "فاهمني؟ حاسسني؟" — طاقة هيب هوب خالصة مضغوطة في كلمتين. فهمت؟ ليست قناة محتوى. هي بنية تحتية. ليبل ومنصة ومؤسسة ثقافية تُبنى على المدى البعيد.
